  • How to Reach Hauz Munnar

    Planning your trip to Hauz Munnar? Here’s a simple guide to help you reach the Villa from different travel options. Hauz Munnar with   Address: Moolakada, Pallivasal, Munnar, Kerala 685612 By Train: Closest Railway Station to Munnar: Aluva Railway Station You can easily take a direct bus from Aluva to Munnar (Buses coming from Ernakulam pass through Aluva). Get down at the Moolakada bus stop in Pallivasal. (Note: There are two Moolakada bus stops—one in Pallivasal and one in Munnar. Please ensure you get down at the Moolakada Bus Stop in Pallivasal). From Moolakada, take the road opposite TATA WORKERS RECREATION CLUB (a red brick building). Follow the narrow road leading downwards next to a transformer. After 500 meters, our hostel will be on your left. A 4-seater taxi ride from Aluva to Monkey Tribe Lite Munnar will cost approximately INR 4000. By Flight: Closest Airport to Munnar: Cochin International Airport Take an Uber or auto from the airport to the Aluva KSRTC Bus Stand. Direct buses are available from Aluva to Munnar. Get down at the Moolakada bus stop. (Note: As mentioned above, ensure to get down at the Moolakada Bus Stop in Pallivasal). Take the road opposite TATA WORKERS RECREATION CLUB (the red brick building). The road will lead downwards next to a transformer. 500 meters ahead, you will find our hostel on your Right. By Bus: From Bangalore and Chennai From Bangalore and Chennai, you can take a direct KSRTC bus to Old Munnar KSRTC Bus Stand. Once you arrive at Old Munnar KSRTC Bus Stand, you can take a local bus or taxi towards Pallivasal and get down at the Moolakada Bus Stop (in Pallivasal—not the one in central Munnar).
