Booking and Refund Policy​​

  General Terms and Conditions

  • PAYMENTS: Guests are required to make a 100% advance payment at the time of booking (unless specified otherwise for select dates or offers).
    For reservations made with a partial advance, the remaining balance must be settled at check-in.

  • CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Standard check-in time is 1:00 PM, and check-out time is 10:00 AM.
    Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges at the property’s discretion.

  • GROUP POLICY: We do not allow groups larger than 8 guests.
    For groups of 4 or more, guests may be allocated separate dorms.
    In case of inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, the Property Manager reserves the right to take necessary action, including immediate cancellation without refund.

  • AGE RESTRICTION: Guests below 18 years of age are not permitted, with or without guardians.
    Our hostels are designed for backpackers and are not suitable for families.

  • IDENTIFICATION: A valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory at check-in. Local IDs will not be accepted.

  • VISITOR POLICY: Outside visitors are not allowed inside the hostel premises.

  • SELF-SERVICE CONCEPT: We follow a self-service model and do not provide luggage assistance or room service.

  • SUBSTANCE USE: Drugs and illegal substances are strictly prohibited within and around the property.

  • ALCOHOL POLICY: Alcohol consumption is permitted subject to property discretion and local laws. Guests are advised to confirm with the property prior to arrival.

  • FOOD POLICY: Outside food is strictly not permitted on the premises. 

  • BREAKFAST POLICY: For the “Breakfast Included” plan, a complimentary set breakfast (non-buffet) is included with your stay. For the “Room Only” plan, breakfast can be added at the property for ₹199 per person.

  • QUIET HOURS: We maintain strict quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.

  • PAYMENTS AT PROPERTY: We are a cashless property and accept only digital payments, including UPI, cards, and payment links.


  Booking Extension Policy
     -Extension of the stay would be provided on current room rates and are subject to availability.
     -Current room rates may be different from the rates at which the rooms were booked.

  Cancellation Policy

  • ​A 100% advance payment is required at the time of reservation to confirm your booking.

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the check-in date are eligible for a full refund (100%).

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date are non-refundable, and the entire booking amount will be retained as a cancellation fee.

    • This also applies to bookings made within the 7-day window, which are strictly non-refundable.

    • No modifications (including date changes or reduction in stay duration) are allowed within this 7-day window. Any such request will be treated as a cancellation and will follow the same policy.

  • In the rare event that the property is unable to host you due to unforeseen or local circumstances, a credit equivalent to the booking amount will be issued. This credit can be used for a future stay at any Monkey Tribe property.

  Group Policy
        Before proceeding with a group booking, please note, Monkey Tribe DOES NOT ALLOW Group stays beyond 8 people (even if the bookings are made in multiple instalments,                      through any booking platform).
      -In case of a group of 4 or more, you would be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms.
      -If the group behavior is deemed unfit at the property, the Monkey Tribe Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also                result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.
      -Any group bookings which has not been authorized in advance, or has been made by several individuals/ separate bookings to make it appear as though it is not a group can be                cancelled or denied at any time in advance or on arrival.
      -Monkey Tribe reserves the right to admission.

  Check-in and Check-out Policy
     -Standard Check-In time is 1PM noon
     -Standard Check-Out time is 10 AM
     -Early Check-In and Late Check-Out is subject to availability and discretion of the property.
     -However please feel free to hang around in our common areas during that time.
